Prince Caspian

I gave this movie much leniency, maybe more than it deserved and so it turned out to be quite good! There was that good swordfight and that scene with the White Witch, But the story seemed to turn on points that weren’t so cleverly (I might mean well) thought out. The appearance of Aslan…

Aslan (the lion) somehow reminds me of God, since he can bring water and trees to life,

The appearance of Aslan, and the reasons for his non-appearance are a little slim. God or things symbolic of God must be difficult to depict in stories (because you know of all the omni-characteristics possessed) and movies without tricks where you can only feel stuff. You know like in….in….Aarrrgh, forgot. But giving a form to God is not impossible. I was thrilled while watching Mononoke Hime.

Prince Caspian, I guess was okay. Though there was that good swordfight!

  1. It’s funny that you would compare Asian to God, because that’s who he symbolically is in the stories. The author was a very famous Christian man who wrote books specifically for Christianity and littered analogies throughout his other books that he wrote. This series is the most famous of them, and numerous studies have been done on them and the analogies he made :)

Funny you should say you liked the movie, because I thought it wasn’t as well done and not that creative… Especially when you read the book. Glad you liked it though :)

Like I said, I was very lenient to it..I liked it because the special effects and fights were good :D

You should see the movie I mention (Mononoke Hime), that is really good!
