Leaves
16Jan09
I had seen a photo in National Geographic of Bamboo stalks somehow looking good. My attempt doesn’t match up in any way :(
The record:
Exposure – 1/60 s
Aperture – f/5.6
ISO – 400
The next one, is well, yellow leaves. There’s something wrong with it, but I don’t know what, and the colour is nice.
For the record:
Exposure : 1/160 s
Aperture : f/5.6 (These numbers keep repeating even though I’m setting the aperture pretty randomly. I wonder why.)
ISO : 400

Nice! You need to work on DOF and exposure.
generally the foreground should be in focus and the background should be out-of-focus, because you wouldnt wanna distract the viewer. And also shoot at f/11 and above (i.e f/16,f22,etc)for landscapes ;)
I was actually trying for that effect only, where the foreground and background are out of focus, and something in between is in focus…bad idea maybe
Cool! I was waiting for someone to suggest aperture values :D
